PRODUCTION SITES

Our two production sites represent the strength and excellence of MADE IN ITALY.
MEDE
The first production plant was founded in 1927 in Mede, Pavia, and since then it has undergone several acquisitions of neighboring land, to allow expansion related to business development. Today, the plant stands on an area of about 5,000 square meters, which includes warehouses, production, QC (micro and chemical) laboratories and offices. This production site manufactures the following specialties:
- Oral liquids
- Semi-solids such as ointments and gels
- Oral solids in different forms: tablets, film-coated tablets, sugar-coated tablets and hard capsules
- Medical Devices
This production plant has several pharmaceutical and MD lines, equipped to carry out serialisation in accordance with GS1 and RU protocols. All the products manufactured in the plant are sold directly to the EU, Africa, South East Asia and New Zealand.
TAVERNERIO
The Tavernerio production site is located 15 minutes from Como, 45 minutes from Milan Malpensa airport and about 50 minutes from Milan and Lugano. The plant is authorised for the production and packaging of non-sterile liquid pharmaceutical forms for internal and external use, the production and packaging of suppositories and the secondary packaging of other pharmaceutical formulations. The site produces both for the European market and for non-EU countries such as Tunisia, Iraq, Lebanon, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, the Dominican Republic, Vietnam and New Zealand. Since 2023, the plant has been equipped with a photovoltaic system with which it produces about 150,000 Kwh/year, corresponding to 38% of its energy needs.
