OUR HISTORY
The history of the SIT Group began long ago and developed in parallel with that of our country.
1927
In the early 1930s, the company was founded in Mede, in province of Pavia near Milan
1973
The period of important brand acquisition began, including Mercurocromo, one of SIT’s historical products.
1987
The company takes a step forward in the market by implementing and activating its first sales force, to help promote its products in pharmacies.
1998
With the foundation of the subsidiary in Switzerland, SIT began its first connections with the European and extra-European markets.
1999
The German branch was founded under the name Desma, in Mainz.
2003

2004
Two more branches were founded: Desma Spain in Madrid and Desma France in Paris
2015
SIT Italy introduced a new medical sales representative network to strengthen relations and communication with local physician.
2023
SIT’s efforts continues with new acquisitions and new markets, following the company’s complete restructure.
